Xray Home Inspections is owned by Ray Barter, licensed by Consumer Protection BC (CPBC) license #84931 and also a member of the Home Inspectors Association BC.

A home inspection should be a valuable source of information but unless the experience is well-documented most people won’t remember all the important details. That’s why we provide a comprehensive easy to understand written report to serve as your guide. It not only describes the house components and their condition, but also provides insight into what improvements will be necessary and when they should be carried out.

Our report will also include some home maintenance recommendations to take care of one of the most significant investments most people make. Our goal is to ensure that you can live safely, comfortably, and efficiently in your new home.

Ray Barter, After 35 years working as a professional carpenter within the building and construction industry operating his own renovation business becoming a Home Inspector seemed like a natural progression for Ray. We feel having this depth of knowledge is a must and helps to visually detect defects and to form accurate inspection reports. He has since hung up his tool belt and now devotes his time to inspecting homes.

Ray completed the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Course and the required Home Inspector Association BC (HIABC) exams along with many hours of field training in order to become a licensed home inspector. We at Xray Home Inspections are committed to continued training through further education courses.
